Tekin var ákvörðun á aðalfundi BJÍ um að halda Íslandsmeistarmót árið 2021 í Laugardalshöllinni daganna 16. og 17. október.
Þetta verður í fyrsta skipti sem keppt verður í bæði nogi og gi á Íslandsmeistaramóti.
Mótið verður opið öllum aldri og óháð þjóðerni, en mun efsti Íslendingurinn standa uppi sem Íslandsmeistari. Er það gert til þess að fá meiri fjölbreyttni í mótið og gera erlendu glímufólki kleift að keppa hérlendis.
Skráning á mótið mun fara fram á bji.smoothcomp.com en við munum senda út tilkynningu um leið og skráning opnar, ásamt nánara fyrirkomulagi mótsins, en það verður á næstu dögum.
